ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will expertly manage complex and sensitive customer interactions. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help identify coverage gaps and recommend tailored insurance solutions. This role offers the opportunity to support multiple lines of business and contribute to the growth and retention of our customer base through effective account management and problem resolution.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide exceptional service excellence by resolving complex customer inquiries and claims with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track and manage customer interactions and follow-ups.
  • Review customer policies to identify coverage gaps and opportunities for additional products, supporting comprehensive account management.
  • Employ strong multitasking and time management skills to handle a variety of customer needs efficiently.
  • Educate customers using a needs-based consultative approach.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and policy updates with careful attention to detail.
  • Support transitions and expansions across different lines of business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and empathetic when handling difficult customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to work across various insurance lines and customer needs.
  • Property and Casualty license required; Life and Health licenses preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Prior insurance experience preferred but not required.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
